Junior Operations Specialist (Global Freight Forwarding)
We are currently seeking to recruit a Junior Operations Specialist (Global Freight Forwarding) to be based in Nicosia, Cyprus
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating air and ocean freight shipments.
- Support the operations team in monitoring shipment progress and tracking updates.
- Update shipment information in internal systems.
- Communicate with customers and partners regarding shipment status when required.
- Assist the sales team with operational information for quotations.
- Help maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.
- Liaise with agents, customs brokers, and vendors under the guidance of senior team members.
- Learn company procedures and industry practices through training and daily operations.
- Support the team in resolving shipment issues or delays.
Qualifications & Skills:
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
