Latest enhancement is the introduction of the largest containership in the world - the Colombo Express. The vessel was christened on April 11th and is a ship of superlatives: with a length of 335m and a width of 43m, she is the size of three football fields. The vessel transports 8,750 Teus and will be employed in the Asia/Europe trade. Up to 2008 Hapag-Lloyd will additionally commission seven sister ships.
