In addition to its container/liner activities worldwide, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd (widely known as "K" Line) also has extensive involvement in terminal operations in Japan and the United States, marine transportation by bulk carriers, car carriers, LNG and coal carriers, tankers as well as intermodal and air transportation which provides for an edge in achieving total logistics solutions. "K" Line operates a "K" Line's container fleet includes all container types and sizes like 20', 40' and 45' dry vans, high cubes, open tops, flat racks, as well as Reefer containers for controlled - temperature cargo. Morover, the "K" Line container fleet is kept in excellent condition through frequent inspections but also by complete refurbishment every 8 years, in an effort to extend the containers' life and good condition. "K" Line Container Lines service for Cyprus is provided to and from North Europe, Scandinavia, Far East, Austalasia, the Indian Sub-Continent and North and South America. North Europe and Scandinavia are served through a weekly direct service (JOS Consortium) while two additional weekly fixed-day sailings are offered from the major European hubs via Port Said. All other services are offered on a weekly fixed-day basis via Port Said.
